Long title, sorry!

I posted about this in response to Jessica's post about Sam's Talent Show Dress, but thought more people would be interested. Mostly those who sew for their dolls.

AG Lists it as coming from the Wisconsin Historical Society . The website has a plethora of children's clothes, with pictures and very detailed descriptions for girls (and boys) clothes from "Before 1800" all the way too the 1990's, (including some of the AG girl's sized outfits).

Here is the direct link to picking out decades.

Or, to go through the homepage, click on Online Collections, and then Museum's Digital Collections, and then Tour The Children's
Clothing Collection, and then (!!) read and accept their terms, and then pick if you want to browse by decade, gender, or type of clothing.

It's a lot of fun. I looked through the 1900's, and had some fun looking at the 80s, lol. Going to look through a bunch of the others and wish I could sew!

Thanks for posting the link. I wonder if you could paste it in our website sticky, too? It might be something fun to refer back to. We often have these "historical accurate" discussions.

Thanks for the link, Cami! That's really interesting to look through. I see lots of outfits that are similar to the ones AG has made for the historical girls. It's neat to see the "real" version of mini outfits that I'm so familiar with.
